Horizon Terminal Services’ Freeport Terminal is a deep-water facility centrally located along the Gulf Coast of Texas, just 60 miles south of Houston. The terminal has direct deepsea waterway, highway and rail access.

Optimal connections

Horizon Terminal Services’ Freeport Terminal  is just 3 miles from deep water and is off of the 45’ deep Freeport Harbor Channel, making it safe and easy to reach for deep sea carriers. The facility  is also ideal for the landbased pre- and on-carriage as it has direct access to the Intercoastal Waterway, State Highways 36 and 288 and rail access provided by the Union Pacific Railroad.

Horizon Terminal Services Freeport’s current facilities are comprised of 60 acres with an additional 150 acres available for future growth. This facility is fully paved and stabilized, fenced and lighted, with 24/7/365 security with roving patrols. 

Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ)

Any portion of Horizon Terminal Services Freeport’s entire facility can be activated as a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), which would include both land and warehouse space.
